Alpina, Swiss horology brand founded in 1883, presents the Alpiner Automatic, the first model of its new collection Alpiner, inspired by a model created in the Fifties. This automatic watch, sporty and elegant, combines high precision and reliability, values peculiar to the Swiss manufacture.
Waterproof to 50 meters, the new Alpina is endowed with a 41.5 mm case which highlights the timeless design of the dome shaped dial. The Arabic numerals and the conical sticks indicating the hours are animated by the hours and minutes luminescent hands, and the whole case is marked by the seconds’ hand which displays a red triangle, the brand emblem. Equipped with a date window at 6 hours, this new Alpina comes in three dial colors: silvered, dark gray or black. Stainless steel or two-colored stainless steel yellow PVD coated, with leather or stainless steel bracelet, this timepiece will seduce the “casual chic” enthusiasts.
The Alpiner Automatic beneficiates from Alpina sports expertise, a real pioneer of the Swiss horology industry, which invented the concept of the sport watch as we know it today. In 1938, the brand created the “Alpina 4”, first sport watch resistant to the most demanding environment such as the alpine habitat. The Alpiner Automatic, representing this sport legacy, is engraved with the three summits which are the brand symbol since 1883.
