The famous watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has presented this week a new model of its Patrimony Contemporaine Collection: a timepiece with the thinnest minute repeater available on the market!

Based upon a rich history of striking watches, the new Caliber 731 took for years to be developed. The movement of this model is based on its predecessor, the 1755 caliber (from 1992) which had a thickness of only 3.28mm.

This new movement of just 3.90mm is barely thicker than the 1755 but built with a power reserve of 65 hours. The name of this new movement is named after the brand’s founder Jean-Marc Vacheron. This piece is a tribute to the great master watchmakers and the history of Vacheron Constantin .

The final price of the Patrimony Contemporaine is not official but we heard rumors that it could reach 270 000€ and only 10 to 15 of these pieces would be produced per year.
