The TAG Heuer brand is known for being the instigator of sporty chronographs.

The Swiss brand has built its reputation by creating a strong link between watches and motorsport. The Swiss house is constantly seeking to push the limits of watchmaking precision, by partnering with the finest racing teams.

Now, TAG Heuer and the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) are united again around shared values to strengthen their partnership. The greatest racing champions such as Juan Manuel Fangi or Jenson Button joined the Swiss watchmaker to confirm its status of legend.

TAG Heuer and the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) signed in 2011 an historic commitment, making the watchmaking brand the official sponsor of the biggest sporting event of the club: the Monaco Grand Prix.

TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 6 Automatic 2014

Monaco Black Edition

This legendary model of the Swiss brand launched in 1969 is the first square water resistant watch and also the first self-winding chronograph.

Even the actor Steve McQueen transformed it into an icon at the occasion of the release of the movie “Le Mans” in 1970. The new incarnation of this model, the Monaco Calibre 6 Automatic, is a claim for innovation and car performances.

This new interpretation includes a 37mm case and a black titanium crown, coated with titanium carbide, with brushed and polished finishes. The watch is also equipped with a black dial with luminescent white numerals; a red hand of the small seconds and a black sub-counter with opaline finishes.

This total black look offers a bold and radical style while remaining entirely faithful to the original Monaco timepiece. This new Monaco Calibre 6 will be exclusively available from May to September only.

Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph Monaco Grand Prix Limited Edition

The iconic Carrera watch designed by Jack Heuer in 1963 is one of the first chronographs for professional pilots and racing car lovers.

The famous Carrera Panamericana Mexico Road Race inspires the name of this legendary timepiece. The Carrera watch quickly became a reference among the greatest drivers.

Since then, many drivers have worn this legendary model: Alain Prost, David Coulthard, Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton.

The Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph is the latest watch being part of the McLaren equipment. On the sapphire background are engraved the logo of the race and a serial number.

The watch houses a caliber fully developed in the workshops of the TAG Heuer Manufacture: the caliber 1887. This timepiece, made of titanium Grade 2, includes a diameter of 43 mm and a large black dial with grey stripes as well as a red stripe.

Finally, the rubber strap recalls the tires of 1963 Formula 1 car, to honor the birth of the Carrera.

The Carrera “Dashboard” Calibre 1887 Chronograph

The latest chronograph model that we present today is inspired by the counters of vintage TAG Heuer dashboards. It is also inspired by the design of the Carrera Mikrogirder watch, launched in 2012 for the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix.

The “Dashboard” model features a sunray black dial; Arabic numerals applied by hand and silver sub-counters. The 45mm titanium case gives a powerful and robust look to this chronograph.

The Carrera “Dashboard” houses a 1887 caliber, a black alligator soft-touch strap and a titanium folding clasp. This is a chronograph with handsome esthetics and increasingly captivating performances.
