The poetry of geometry

Four new additions to the award-winning Rado r5.5 Collection present a colour palette of violet, blue, beige and brown. These design-driven watches resemble polished, shaded mosaics, which tease the light in a pure white interior. Clearly distinguishing them from their decorative ancient ancestors, at home in elaborate Roman villas, or fine elements of contemporary art, they incorporate precision Swiss timekeeping and materials with unrivalled durability. The Rado r5.5 Colours timepieces demonstrate an elegant design evolution, where colour plays an indispensible supporting role and never a distracting diva.

Shedding light on pure precision

All of the Rado r5.5 Colours embody the intrinsic characteristics that have established this distinctive watch as a design icon. They proudly adhere to the 5.5 mm radius that gives them their name and have a white case and linked bracelet made from the high-tech ceramic, with which Rado revolutionised the watch industry precisely 25 years ago. A flat, sapphire crystal is metallised in a steel colour and fixed securely to the case using an intricate adhesion process. The steel crown is signed off with a white, high-tech ceramic cap and twelve applied steel-coloured indexes punctuate the dial.

A spectrum of looks

The iridescent coloured dials of the Rado r5.5 Colours quartet harmonise with a wide repertoire of personal styles. Both men and women with an eye for design and a love of having comfortable, durable materials on their skin will find their timekeeping soul mate in the range. Its shaping combines angles and smoothness, equipping it to complement anything from crisp tailoring to the flowing lines and fabrics of spring and summer outfits. These mosaics of violet, blue, beige and brown multi-task between withstanding time and partnering vibrant current trends. Working in partnership with light, they serve as key elements of an intriguing new Rado product kaleidoscope.
