A timepiece tradition developed for the French Navy

When in doubt about the diving watch you want to choose full of history and with an original style, then you should have a look to the Spirotechnique 300M Black Chiffres by Auricoste, that may be the one !

Auricoste is a French brand, actor of the watch market since 1854. This brand is tightly linked to the French Aéronavale Army, and have long been noted internationally. Auricoste equips the SNA Submarines, the Frégates 2000, the whole staff of Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, and even the diver commando squad… Impressive, isn’t it?

Auricoste and the submarine diving timepieces

The Watchmaker recently added a new piece to the collection, « La Spirotechnique », the first modern diving watch of the brand. A very practical watch, declined in different versions.

The case is available in an  stainless steel or with a PVD/LDC finish, depending of the models. A brushed finish and a mat black dial emphasised by a large index allow a better readability. The hands’luminescent covering, index and graduations, enhance the clarity by dim light. A vital feature for all seabed explorers!

Furthermore, the use of the winding bezel, fully calibrate, makes it very accurate. A real asset compared to most of the other diving watches, which often only have a graduation for the minutes between 0 and 15.

A watch for dive enthusiasts, but not only…

Movement wise, it is a classic of its kind. The Spirotechnique Auricoste uses a ETA 2824-2 calibre. A reliable movement that will delight the athletes! Three bands will be offered with your purchase: a rubber one and two NATO army green and orange, to design your timepiece depending your mood and needs.

You will most certainly like the  reasonable size of the dial: 42 mm diameter, ideal for a daily use. In sum, the Spirotechnique by Auricoste is a timepiece with an original and customisable style, that you’ll wear all year long both on the ground and under the oceans !
