Karl Friedrich Scheufele, co-president of Chopard always planned to create a fascinating timepiece since 2006. Here we are: the new L.U.C. 1963 Chronograph watch is an exceptional timepiece featuring the famous “Ponts de Genève”.

Only 50 units of this little wonders have been produced and they aim to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the prestigious watchmaker owned by the Scheufele family. The Scheufele family has always taken care to bring more radiance and value to the Swiss brand.

The LUC 1963 watch is equipped with an 18K pink gold case which houses a chronographe which has been released from its oscillating weight. This chronograph features a “flyback” function which uses a single push of the button placed at 4 o’clock for stopping, resetting and restarting the chronograph.

Time is easy to read thanks to a combination of red and gold hands. These bright colors are placed on the hour hands, minutes, and small seconds but also on the chronographs counters.

What lies inside the box is simply a watchmaking achievement! The surface treatment, the components of the chronograph and the Côtes de Genève make it a live show for your eyes. The shapes of the bridges have also been completely redesigned.

The objective of the LUC 1963 Chronograph was to create a unique piece for collectors and we can say that Karl-Friedrich Scheufele has achieved his goal. “His dream has come true.”
