The 2015 Baku event will the first European Games ever organized, an innovative and unique multisport experience. This event will take place in one year, from 12 to 28 June 2015.

 A total of 19 sports will be represented at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic disciplines and three non-Olympic. More than 6,000 athletes are expected to represent their country during the 17 days of competition.

 Nine of these sports will be offered the possibility to be qualified for the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. Here are the following disciplines: archery, athletics, beach volleyball, cycling, shooting, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo and triathlon.

 In December 2012, the city of Bakou in Azerbaijan obtained the agreement to organize these first Games with the help of the European Olympic Committee (EOC). The host city is now proud to announce their partnership with the Swiss brand Tissot, which will be the official timekeeper and partner of the European Games.

 Tissot and Swiss Timing (Swatch Group) will provide all services of timing and scoring for the event of the summer 2015. This partnership also gives the right to Tissot to use the Baku Games brand in exclusivity for their entire global communication.
