So, it is not weird to see the most prestigious brands of each industry unite in order to realize unique products. If it seems complicated to conceive a car based on a watch, the opposite is not rare. Therefore, prestigious watchmakers took the codes of the asphalt stars to create wonderful models. Speed, precision, design are the magic words you will find in this feature that honors these beautiful pieces destined for your wrist!



Swiss renowned watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier and Bugatti formed a partnership some years ago to create an incredible watch derived from the automotive conception. Its name: the Bugatti Type 370. The case in 18 carat white gold is composed of 6 sapphire crystals allowing to admire all parts of the mechanism. Pieces are laid-out as a transversal motor’s ones, first time for a watchmaking piece. Another reference to the Bugatti world lies in the conception of the wheels of the movement which have been designed in mind of the famous double wheel rim invented by Ettore Bugatti in the thirties. The Hermes calf leather bracelet reminds of the Bugatti Veyron special series … Hermes. Like the last Bugatti cars, this watch is a limited edition and only 50 copies will be produced in each color for a maximum production of 200 pieces.

2) B.R.M AND ABARTH (V12-T44)

This B.R.M automatic large-sized chronograph (44 mm) is marked out by its black titanium case, its hours and minutes chrome hands, red seconds and yellow sub-display hands. Its buttons are elegantly engraved with « start & stop » (just like the cars) and « back to zero » and its black nomex strap features red stitching exactly like that of an Abarth fascia. The V12 Abarth is made in a limited series of only 49 numbered pieces in the Magny en Vexin manufacture.

To celebrate its hundredth anniversary in 2009, Audi uses watchmaker Chronoswiss, also based in Munich, to create a jubilee watch: the Tachoscope, a single-pusher regulator chronograph with tachymeter scale and enamel dial. Baptized “Tachoscope”, the Audi centennial watch features a combination of a regulator dial, chronograph function with stopping by simple pressure on a pushbutton and a graduated tachymeter. Audi Design drew its inspiration from the typography of instruments used in the Auto Union racing cars to conceive an original and bright lettering. The dial is dominated by the seconds hand numbers that remind the type C and D racing cars tachometer which raced in the Grand Prix in the thirties. Altogether, 100 pieces of the Tachoscope have been conceived, 35 platinum and 65 in white gold. The watch will be delivered in a black lacquered wooden box, with a magnifying glass and a screwdriver.

So, the roaring of the racing cars decorated with the prancing horse resounds like music for the enthusiasts. A music which can be, for the high watchmaking amateurs like the breath much more discrete of these motors, which animate the Officine Panerai watches, another renowned name personifying perfectly the technologic strength, inventiveness and Italian design. And under the auspices of this Italian creativity and amount of know-how, was born this unique binomial: the Ferrari Engineered by Officine Panerai.



MP-05 « LaFerrari » represents a very special series, fully conceived designed and developed by engineers and watchmakers from the Hublot manufacture in tribute to “LaFerrari”. The demonstration and testimony are up to the car: it’s an historical record with 50 days reserve for its autonomy. It is also the watch with most watchmaking components created to this day by Hublot (637). The dedication to exceptional of this watch was pushed until the conception of the box realized in schedoni leather and carbon fiber which contains specific tools to wind up the watch and whose design was inspired by the automotive world. Limited edition of 50 numbered pieces.




Sporty by nature until the last component, sport watch Blancpain Super Trofeo Chronograph is offered with an alcantara strap (like the Lamborghini Gallardo seats) with stainless steel folding clasp. Proposed in limited edition of 300 pieces engraved “Limited series x/300”on the bottom of the watch case, sport watch Blancpain Super Trofeo Chronograph is delivered in a box also inspired by the tended lines of the roaring Gallardo.



Oval platinum wristwatch, this watch is equipped with a black carbon movement with blue anodized aluminum bridges, white gold and palladium twin barrel, 10 days power reserve, regulator with visible tourbillon, chronograph with oval pushbuttons and tachymeter scale. This Tourbillon and Chronograph Millenary MC12 from Audemars Piguet were conceived on the occasion of Maserati anniversary. From a limited edition of 150 pieces, the Millenary was sold on December 4th, 2006.



The Indicator look is directly inspired by the Porsche Carrera GT, the elongated pushbuttons refer to the car pedals, and the rotor is inspired by the wheel rim design. The inside strap reminds of the tires sculpture of the Carrera GT.



Tag Heuer created in 1969 the first waterproof square case of history. Animated by the famous Chronomatic Calibre 11, the Monaco is also the first automatic chronograph in the world. One year later, Steve McQueen adopts it and wears it in the Le Mans movie. On the actor wrist, this watch became an icon. Tag Heuer and Mercedes-Benz also are partners and the result of this collaboration is the Tag Heuer SLR for Mercedes-Benz.




On this very exclusive watch are represented elements of the Pagani Zonda F. We can find the gear stick, the wheel rim and especially the representation of the four exhaust pipes typical from of the car. As the supercars, coupés and Zonda F roadsters, the watch is produced in limited edition.



On 22 September 2004 in the Service Center of Aston Martin concession in Paris, Auto Performance, Jérôme Lambert and Dr. Ulrich Bez announced jointly the creation of a partnership between the two companies. Since then, many models were created but the last one, the Amvox Transpondeur 3 is a concentrate of technology and tradition. Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin united to develop unique watch meant for the Aston Martin DBS owners. The fruit of this union is a watch with an original characteristic: it can open and close the DBS by pressing the crystal. This technologic eccentricity has an important price of 27500 euros to which must be added the 275 000 euros of the Aston Martin DBS.
