When we think of the watch brand MB&F, we first have spaceships and quite surprising forms that come to mind.
The new Legacy Machine No. 2 launched a few months ago by Maximilian Büsser remains faithful to the spirit of the brand. It is a balanced mixture of traditional watchmaking and science fiction. Of course, this is a natural evolution of the first Legacy Machine, with influences and visionary design thanks to two weighing-machines suspended with four arches above the dial.
Inspired by the historical watchmakers
This futuristic watch is a tribute to timepieces from the 18th and 19th Centuries and to famous watchmakers such as Abraham-Louis Breguet, Ferdinand Berthoud and Antide Janvier. These are quite upper level references completely assumed by M & F!
The Legacy Machine No. 2 was designed by Büsser (MB&F), Eric Giroud (Eric Giroud Design Studio), the movement meanwhile was developed by Jean-François Mojon (Chronode). Design movement and finishing touches have been completed by the watchmaker Kari Voutilainen.
