Mitch Gilbert is an Australian race car driver, born in Kuala Lumpur. His racing career began in karting in 2002 and he is now a promising driver in the GP3 series. He made his debut in Formula 3 in 2012 and is on the Carlin Motorsport team. The Carlin Motorsport team is based in the UK and competes in a total of four championships every year, including the FIA Formula E, FIA European Formula 3, and GP2, with the additional MSA Formula being new for the 2015 circuit.
Although he is only 21 years of age, he is highly respected in the sport for his maturity, talent, and spirit. With several different series under his belt, he understands the need to work his way up. He respects the sport and is eager to learn about all that goes into the sport of racing. His debut in the GP3 series was at Silverstone.

Mitch is a particular fan of the Lacroix DLC Yellow watch by CP and as such, he will be racing in CP stripes as a way of supporting the brand. The Lacroix model shows all of the gears and is often referred to as a skeleton watch.
