After 15 years in the major watch houses, Brice Jaunet, moved by the desire to begin, decided to give life to the creative ideas that animate and create BRISTON as the synthesis of the personal and professional, dedicated to time.

Brice Jaunet imagines a natural watchmaker which breathes with authenticity. He wants his watches to be just and true while remaining accessible. It is the diverting and mixing of the materials that happens to create this timepiece to be a chic and quirky accessory.

Divert cellulose acetate: traditionally rooted in the world of eyewear, it declines into unexpected colors which dress the dials. It is an innovation that gives BRISTON sport watches a chic look that is tinged with British spirit. Contemporary, chic but also casual, the BRISTON watches know how to seduce a Hipster, the Dandy, the Preppy, the Trendsetters, men, women or just watch lovers.

From the beginning, the NATO bracelet was chosen by the founder to strengthen the British spirit and give a sporty, chic look which is rooted in the DNA of the brand.

As time passes inexorably by, BRISTON already has 3 years of operation. It has been 3 years since its successful launch at Colette; after only 3 years, the young watch brand has established itself.

The Clubmaster Classic collection: a timeless marriage of form and matter

The “square arched” shape, recognized among all the big houses and signature watch, gives it that unique style that is both vintage and contemporary.

An idea taken from the “Roaring Twenties”, the square arched explodes in this segment, usually dedicated to round watches.

Cellulose acetate is a noble material; highly valued in high-end eyewear. Made from cotton fibers and flowers (70%), acetate is a natural and non-allergenic material. For the Clubmaster’s work, BRISTON appealed to the expertise of the Italian house Mazzucchelli.

Handcrafted acetate, according to particular specifications and along manufacturing processes, allows for a lot of creativity while offering a unique and sensual texture.

The unique shape of the Clubmaster enhances the nobility of this material.

Finally, BRISTON has chosen to present this collection of bracelets called “NATO”. These bracelets were developed in the 60s to equip the Royal Navy, requested by the UK Ministry of Defense, before moving on to posterity on the wrist of James Bond, the famous agent of her most gracious majesty.

By using nylon, which is very rugged and waterproof, they reinforced the vintage spirit look by making it decidedly “sporty chic”.

The Founder – Brice Jaunet

Went after his dreams, creating his own watch brand after 15 years experience in the watch industry.

During those years, he worked in both the world’s largest watchmaking group starting with Richemont at Cartier. He joined Baume & Mercier, then he worked internationally at Raymond Weil. He finally joined the LVMH Group as an export manager and vice president of international marketing for Zenith brand, taking it in the direction of France.

Enthused since his childhood by the entrepreneurial spirit of his grandfather Jacques, co-founder of the NewMan brand in 1967, Brice has always had the ambition to give life to his creativity.

In late 2012, he started working with friends who were Swiss designers in order to create a watch brand that resembles him; the fruit of his reflections, his research and the desire to create a beautiful watch that is authentic yet accessible.

His studies at Oxford, his passion for sport and his love of travel infuses the BRISTON brand with “sport chic” spirit that has quirkiness.
