Today, we go back to a beautiful collection launched by Montblanc at the SIHH 2014: The Meisterstuck Heritage Collection. This range can easily be recognized due to its timeless style, its classic look and also its elegant shape.
The two main models in the collection are the Meisterstuck Moonphase Heritage and the Heritage Meisterstuck Perpetual Calendar with a diameter of 39mm. These two timepieces feature very elegant and short sides, a domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment and a sapphire crystal on the back. The metal above the watch is polished while the case sides have a brushed satin finish. Meanwhile the silver white dial is slightly domed and is completed with faceted index and applied Roman numeral XII.
The Meisterstuck Heritage Moonphase proves that it’s always nice to assemble small details on a watch. We can admire through the sapphire crystal the automatic caliber 29.14 MB. All new Heritage Meisterstuck watches are equipped with a black alligator strap and a buckle in 18K rose gold or stainless steel. The Heritage Moonphase model will be available in summer 2014 for €11,500 in the rose gold version, and € 3,490 in the stainless steel version.
Aaesthetic and timeless functions
Montblanc has also relied on its new model Meisterstuck Heritage Perpetual Calendar. The attraction of this model is that technical adjustments only intervene in 2100 for the perpetual calendar. A real improvement! The calendar shows the exact date, it requires no manual adjustment at the end of the month with less than 31 days or in leap years.
The timepiece is powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding caliber MB 29.15. Each model Meisterstuck Heritage Perpetual Calendar is tested with a complete quality test of 500 hours in Locle factories to obtain a certificate for each tested watch.
This perpetual calendar will be as the Moonphase model available this summer for a price of € 16,900. Rather affordable for a rose gold model with mechanical perpetual calendar!
