The model Masterpiece Gravity
During the next BaselWorld show starting in March, the Swiss manufacture Maurice Lacroix will unveil their new timepiece: the Masterpiece Gravity.
The asset of this new model is to incorporate within itself a cutting-edge technology: the sicilium. Three times lighter than the steel, which is very similar to glass but that requires just a little maintenance. The pieces of the movement have been reduced to 188 in order to create the ML230 caliber which is the thirteenth movement of Maurice Lacroix Manufacture. Thus, the Swiss brand reaffirms its know-how and technical progress implemented by the brand.
The objective pursued by the Gravity watch is to be a part of the great list of avant-garde masterpieces which magnetize us through their high-performance design.
Two editions available
Masterpiece Gravity is available as so-called “Classical” presented in a stainless steel in house case and a more contemporary style (“Contemporary”), comes in a very elegant anthracite PVD case. Through its generous size diameter of 43mm can be admired the various components of the timepiece.
A key element of the Masterpiece Gravity watch is the “box” in sapphire glass which is forming a dome magnifying the oscillator with an impressive 3D effect.
The indicator of hours and minutes is confined inside a white lacquered dial, with domed center and retained by two plated screws. It includes diamond markers on the “Contemporary” model and Roman numerals on the “classical” model.
The watch has a transparent background with a clear view of the generous proportions of the automatic movement which also includes the famous “Côtes de Genève”.
